The best felt glue I have used is Aleene’s Felt & Foam tacky glue. It is available for purchase on Amazon HERE.
Other glues I have tried with felt include Aleene’s Turbo Tacky Glue and Aleene’s Fabric Fusion pen. Neither glue provided a strong hold. Neither glue fully set. I also tried to use hot glue, but it was not precise enough for my craft.
Aleene’s Felt & Foam tacky glue:
– Provides a strong hold
– Does not set right away, allowing you time to move pieces around. Fully sets after 1 hour.
– Easily squeezes out of the bottle
– Dries clear. One time I glued a piece of felt down, but removed it 5 minutes later. I wiped off the excess glue. The area dried clear! However, the felt was stiff in that area.
Aleene’s Felt & Foam Tacky Glue is the only felt glue I use and I recommend it for any felt craft.
Kindly note that the product is not intended for use on washable wearables.
