Inspired by a vintage Disney bridal shower I did a few years back.
Tableware
We had eclectic floral plates paper plates sitting on gold chargers. Here are matching gold napkin rings to use with linen feel disposable napkins. We served a Monte Cristo casserole with green salad and fruit salad.
We served Mint Juleps and other beverages out of iridescent drinkware:
– Iridescent Wine Glasses
– Iridescent Stemless Flutes
Dessert Table
This white metal, Ferris Wheel Cupcake Stand was a lovely center piece for the dessert table. Add this set of White Metal Dessert Stands in varying sizes and heights to complete the display. We used oreo thins to add mouse ears to the cupcakes. We also served lemon squares and churro cheesecake bites.
We used these Mickey Mouse Cookie Cutters to make rice krispie treats. They were dipped in white chocolate and dusted with pearly sprinkles. These were the guest take home.
Decor
We didn’t emphasise princesses, as the bride wanted more focus on the fab five. However, these Mini Golden Cinderella Carriages would look lovely dispersed on tables.
I think that Boxwood elements feel very Disney. We displayed this set of Boxwood Spiral Topiaries, and I think something like this Faux Boxwood Hedge Wall would be great if you have a large space to divide.
Here are some sweet Disney art prints in pastel colors that would look lovely on walls or tables:
– Set of 4 Disney Map Art Prints
– Set of 12 Minnie and Mickey Mouse Art Prints
Lastly, this Vintage Popcorn Machine would definitely deliver an authentic theme park feel.
Vintage Disney is fun and versatile theme for any party.
